1st Phorm swaps out two ingredients in Project-1 including creatine

1st Phorm Project 1 Without Creatine

Mainstream sports nutrition brand 1st Phorm recently reformulated and relaunched its flagship pre-workout Project-1, making some notable changes. The focus of the supplement is still very much a complete and comprehensive pre-workout, including ingredients to support all of the core benefits, such as increased energy, enhanced focus, improved performance, and better pumps.

Of the previous version of Project-1’s eight ingredients, two of them have been swapped out for something else, with each of those replacements providing a similar sort of effect. The consistent features of the 1st Phorm pre-workout are 6g of citrulline malate for pumps, 2.4g of beta-alanine, 2.5g of betaine, 350mg of classic caffeine for energy, 50mg of premium TeaCrine, and 6g of BCAAs for recovery.

1st Phorm Project 1 Label

The differences between 1st Phorm’s newest Project-1 pre-workout and its predecessor are that a full 5g of tried and true creatine monohydrate is no longer in the mix, and neither is a gram of agmatine. In place of the creatine, the brand has thrown in 5g of the quality carbohydrate, highly branched cyclic dextrin for fuel and performance, and instead of agmatine, you get 250mg of norvaline.

As mentioned, the new ingredients in 1st Phorm’s Project-1 do offer something similar, although it is worth noting the changes, especially the creatine, as some may have been relying on the pre-workout for their daily dose. The refreshed supplement is available from retailers as well as the brand’s own online store at the same price of $49.99 for a tub of 20 servings in four of the previous version’s flavors.
