Cream of rice trend back in action with Rice Pudding from Weider

Weider Rice Pudding

Throughout 2021 and 2022, cream of rice supplements saw a sharp rise in popularity in the regions of the UK and Europe, with many sports nutrition brands coming out with their own take on the product. Most of the releases were straightforward, with occasional twists in the flavor department, and now it’s Germany’s Weider continuing the trend with the straightforwardly named Rice Pudding.

Weider’s Rice Pudding is as simple as the majority of its competition; in fact, it’s as simple as it gets, as this one doesn’t come in any flavors. The latest product from the sports nutrition brand is a bulk tub of unflavored rice flour or cream of rice. The nutrition profile on a 100g serving of Rice Pudding is a clean 77g of carbohydrates, a gram of that sugar, 7.3g of protein, a gram of fat, and 344 calories.

The simplicity of Weider’s Rice Pudding makes it incredibly versatile, giving you the ability to throw in flavoring ingredients or a preferred protein powder for a personal touch. The product is making its way out to stores and stockists in Europe in a sizeable 1.5kg tub, which would be 30 servings at 50g a piece, and it’s competitively priced, with the brand’s online store selling it at €18.99 (19.54 USD).
