Adonis adds another functional protein powder that you can quickly turn into a cake

Adonis Protein Mug Cake

Health and fitness brand Adonis in Australia has expanded its selection of protein products, which was already relatively diverse with the typical Whey Isolate and functional, sludge-style Protein Cookie Dough. Joining those supplements is another self-explanatory protein creation by the name of Protein Mug Cake, which is a powder that you mix with water, throw in the microwave, and turn into a protein-packed cake.

Adonis’ whey-powered Protein Mug Cake is indeed as simple as it sounds; a quick and easy way to turn flavored powder into a warm, soft, and high-protein treat. The macros aren’t as lean as a traditional protein powder, certainly not in the realm of the brand’s own Whey Isolate. Protein Mug Cake comes with a respectable 22g of protein a serving, but alongside that is a notably high 12 to 13.7g of carbohydrates, under 5g of that sugar, between 3 and 5g of fat, and calories ranging from 190 up to a total of 197.

Again, Adonis Protein Mug Cake isn’t supremely lean, it’s closer to a meal replacement shake than a protein powder with that carbohydrate count over 10g, which if you’re a double scooper will obviously go even higher up to 27g of carbs. The first place to get the Australian brand’s latest nutrition creation is its website, where an eight-serving bag is $34.99 (23.02 USD). Adonis maximizes the flavor side, giving its mug cake experience there dessert style tastes in Caramel Date, Double Chocolate, and Rich Caramel.
