Warcry family from Genius Nutrition adds a clear-style protein powder

Genius Nutrition Warcry Whey

Genius Nutrition in Europe has been going down the route that Cellucor went with C4 and the likes of Alpha Lion is doing with Superhuman, in that it’s taking its original pre-workout name and expanding it into all sorts of categories. In the case of Genius, we’re talking about Warcry, the title of one of its pre-workouts but now also covers a fat burner, a simpler energy-based formula, an energy drink, a protein beverage, and, beginning this month, a clear-style protein powder.

Warcry Clear Whey is the latest from Genius Nutrition, and it takes the traditional approach to the sub-category, relying entirely on whey isolate to provide a solid 22g of protein a serving with zero fat, practically no carbohydrates at just 200mg, and 89 calories. The supplement is also exclusively available in clear and refreshing, fruit-based tastes, not the usual milkshake-like experiences of protein powders, with Warcry Clear Whey coming in Peach Iced Tea and Watermelon Candy.

Genius Nutrition’s Warcry Clear Whey is out now in its home market of Europe, alongside the many other Warcry-named products; although it’s not an overly large protein powder with 20 servings, which is closer to 17 and 18 servings if you’re more used to 25g of protein.
