Joyburst is about to expand into protein drinks with a clear-style competitor

No Sugar Company Joyburst Clear Protein Rtd

The No Sugar Company has taken its Joyburst energy drink beyond its original category and into other areas of health and nutrition. We’ve seen hydration with the Joyburst Renew sports drink, a stick-pack supplement version of Renew, and, most recently, better-for-you Joyburst Mocktails. The functional specialist looks to be continuing that expansion and growing Joyburst into other spaces and formats, with details coming in on Joyburst Clear.

The upcoming Joyburst Clear is a clear-style protein powder in canned, ready-to-drink format, and it is going to pack plenty of protein. The first look at the product shows it has a respectable 30g of protein a can, all from premium whey isolate, and true to the company’s name, absolutely no sugar. The preview of No Sugar Company’s Joyburst Clear protein RTD is a draft, so it may not look like this when it hits shelves, but the overall concept will remain.

There are many sports nutrition brands bringing clear protein powders to market, although not nearly as many have gone the beverage route, as we’re about to get from the No Sugar Company in Joyburst Clear. We don’t have a specific launch date or any sort of timeframe for the high-protein drink, although we have got some idea of taste, as Joyburst Clear’s been shown in an Icy Pop flavor, keeping with the approach seen in clear protein powders.
