Skinny Food puts together a 150g Easter Egg with 50g of protein and less than a gram of sugar

Skinny Food Co Chocaholic Easter Egg

With only a couple of weeks until Easter, The Skinny Food Co has got in on the fun and released its own better-for-you treat to enjoy in place of the traditional, sugar-loaded chocolate egg. The brand has put its Chocaholic series name to use once again with the High Protein Chocaholic Easter Egg. The product is made primarily with cocoa paste and cocoa butter, ensuring an authentic chocolate experience, and it’s infused with pea protein, collagen, erythritol, and skimmed cocoa to give it a functional twist.

The Skinny Food Co’s High Protein Chocaholic Easter Egg is no small treat, tipping the scales at a giant 150g; however, even with that size, it has managed to keep the nutrition profile much lower in calories than 150g of regular milk chocolate all while significantly raising the protein. Packed into that sizeable, special edition functional creation is 50g of protein, just over that in fat at 52.5g, and a surprising 33g of carbohydrates with less than a gram of that sugar, all ending on a calorie count of about 710.

The cost of The Skinny Food Co’s healthier take on the classic Easter egg is not too bad at £10.99 (14 USD), a reasonable price to pay for the benefit of getting an enjoyable chocolate treat that will certainly take care of your protein requirements and stay responsible in the area carbohydrates and sugar.
