After a full day of fun, all thanks to the never-disappointing April Fools’ Day, we have some news coming from the Swedish powerhouse Barebells that has us extremely excited for what is around the corner. The functional brand has held the crown of the best-tasting protein bar in the world ever since we tried its signature snack back in 2017. The innovative company has held the title since then and has continued to create different flavors as well as different bars for the protein snacking space.
Barebells has put out a teaser that says it has a new protein bar about to hit the market in its home country of Sweden and that it is apparently the “best of two worlds in one bar”. We’ve seen the brand create all-new protein bars many times over the years, with its two-piece Double Bite, the gooey-centered Core Bar, and its most recent creation, the Barebells Soft Protein Bar. Based on how Barebells is building toward this thing, we have to imagine it is along those lines and something completely new.
We can’t imagine all of this leading to another flavor for the signature Barebells Protein Bar or Soft Protein Bar, even more so as the brand itself says “new protein bar out soon”. If we had to guess, we’d say the clues are in reference to a candy bar that’s high in protein and low in carbohydrates; the best of both worlds, meaning healthy and candy-like. It could also mean a combination of two of Barebells’ already available protein snacks; we’ll just have to wait and see what the brand has prepared.
