Novo returns to the traditional bar format and 20g of protein in its latest functional effort

Novo Protein Bar

Novo Nutrition has been all over the protein snacking space over the years, and many of its innovations have been products in the traditional bar format, including, of course, its signature, soft and crispy Protein Wafer. You also can’t forget its legendary Kit Kat-like and top-ranking protein snack, Protein Break, and there was a more typical, layered competitor at some point in the Easy Bar. The UK-based functional food specialist has come back around to that approach in its all-new, title-named Novo Protein Bar.

The upcoming Novo Protein Bar is similar to the Easy Bar from years ago in that it’s a classic layered protein bar, where you get a dense and doughy base, a gooey flavorful cream, crispy and crunchy pieces sprinkled across the top, and all wrapped in chocolate. Going alongside that common protein bar build, the newest innovation out of Novo Nutrition has an equally common amount of protein at 20g per bag, and presumably reasonable numbers elsewhere, including low sugar and in the area of 220 calories.

Novo Nutrition’s new Novo Protein Bar is due to be making its way out into the market shortly, and being as experienced as it is in this part of the health and fitness industry, it of course, has options available for the product. There will be two tastes to choose from when the item makes its way to shelves in a decadent Chocolate Brownie and a traditional Cookies & Cream, both packing that same 20g of protein.
