Australian brand Emrald Labs gives you an almost 1:1 ratio in Lean Gainer

Emrald Labs Lean Gainer

The majority of protein supplements are indeed traditional protein powders, where you get a good, clean, and lean source of protein to conveniently inject extra protein into your diet via a delicious shake, in a smoothie, or anywhere else powder can be included. Another popular area of protein is meal replacements and mass gainers, where you get a substantial amount of carbohydrates and fat to go with the protein, and that is precisely what the Australian brand Emrald Labs has just done.

The extensive sports nutrition company has revealed and released Lean Gainer, and while it does provide a good amount of protein, like most gainers, as per the name, delivering a concentrated, extra high level of calories is not the primary goal. Emrald Labs Lean Gainer is very much a lean-style mass gainer, where you get 29g of protein from whey concentrate, isolate, and milk, but instead of four times that in carbohydrates, like the brand’s own Post Mass, here you get an almost equal one-to-one ratio of 24g of carbohydrates mostly from maltodextrin, 3.5g of fat, and a calorie count of 251.

It is worth noting there is also 3g of creatine monohydrate in Lean Gainer, and that is transparently listed alongside the sources of protein, so you know how much of each source contributes to that 29g, like 20.8g coming from whey concentrate. Another strong area in the latest innovation out of Emrald Labs is the menu of Lean Gainer, as right out of the gate, it has six flavors with 34 serving tubs, and those options are Chocolate Milk, Chocolate Malt, Cookies & Cream, Strawberry, Banana, and Vanilla.
