Lucozade’s caffeinated Alert energy drink drops into a half-sized 250ml can

Smaller Lucozade Alert Energy Drink

Lucozade is a legacy sports drink that has been around for an immense amount of time in several regions around the world, including the United Kingdom. The long-running company has a few beverages available, each having its own point of difference, including the energy drink Lucozade Alert. That product is a traditional 500ml sparkling beverage with a fair amount of caffeine to enhance and elevate energy at 160mg a can in sugar-filled flavors, as well as a single, zero-sugar option.

Since its inception, the Lucozade Alert energy drink has been exclusively available in the common 500ml or half-liter size, just a little bit more than the classic 16oz you’ll see all over the place here in the US. Next month, making its way out into coolers across the United Kingdom is a much smaller size of the Lucozade beverage, measuring 250ml. It is basically a half-sized offering, presumably packing half the caffeine as well at 80mg, and it is coming in two flavors, one standard and one sugar-free.

Lucozade Alert’s 250ml can will be available in a flavor simply referred to as Ultimate Energy, which is described as a classic guarana-type energy drink flavor, and the other one is for the zero sugar version, and the taste is the same as the full-size 500ml can in Mango Peachade. Again, the beverage brand is rolling out the downsized option in next month, and with Lucozade’s distribution, it’ll be all across the United Kingdom in all sorts of major supermarkets and convenience stores.
