Popular plant-based protein Planta becomes a bar with 15g of protein in two familiar flavors

Ambrosia Planta Protein Bar

Pro Zero was a deliciously popular plant protein powder from the reputable brand HPN, High Performance Nutrition, which was eventually replaced, although not by another supplement under the same brand. Owner Sean Torbati brought the product across to one of his other brands, the specialty powerhouse Ambrosia Collective, with the name Planta. The supplement has continued its legacy there over the last few years and is about to get its first-ever spin-off.

The always-effective Ambrosia from Marc Lobliner, Mike Rashid, and Sean Torbati has announced an edible bar version of Planta with the Planta Protein Bar. It comes with plenty of protein per piece at 15g, all from vegan-friendly, plant-based sources in brown rice and pea isolate. The carbohydrates are up there in this one as it has a peanut butter-based build with 29g, 21g of that sugar and 17g of that added sugar, 15g of fat, and a rather high-calorie count of 310.

To make things familiar for fans of the original protein powder, Ambrosia’s newly released Planta Protein Bar comes in two tastes from the supplement’s menu in Banana Maple French Toast and Chocolate Caramel Candy Bar. Knowing how well the brand delivers on taste in each of the many different options for the Planta powder and how smooth peanut butter protein bars go down, we imagine this will be another Ambrosia hit, and you can get it now at Vitamin Shoppe.
