Be Legend recreates its home country classic Ramune as a flavor of protein powder

Be Legend in Japan has on record more authentic collaborations than most other sports nutrition brands out there, but even more interestingly, it does some extremely intriguing flavors when not collaborating, mostly for its signature, whey-based protein powder. The creative company is at it again this week, releasing a flavor called Ramune for its flagship protein supplement, and the taste is indeed intended to be like the classic Japanese beverage Ramune Soda.

The original Ramune Soda has a hint of citrus to it, sort of a light lemon-lime, although, no matter how you want to describe it, that signature Ramune taste is what Be Legend is aiming to replicate in the newest flavor of its protein powder. Obviously, Ramune is a carbonated drink, and this is a protein shake, so there are huge format differences, but that is the goal: a classic Ramune taste with 20g of protein per serving, 1.4g of fat, 4.7g of carbohydrates, and 112 calories.

As mentioned, Be Legend is no stranger to putting together unique flavors for its small selection of supplements; about nine months ago, we got a Honey extension for its whey-powered protein powder.
