Gorilla Mind makes a smaller and even more cost-effective Gorilla Mode Base for Walmart

Gorilla Mode Base At Walmart

Gorilla Mind has shared more about its expansion into the big box retailer Walmart, specifically which of its well-put-together sports nutrition products you will be seeing on its shelves. We actually put in a few guesses over the weekend as to what our 2023 Brand Of The Year would be bringing to Walmart and its immense number of stores, with Premium Protein, Gorilla Hydration, and Gorilla Mode Base. It turns out we were spot on with the pre-workout, as Base is precisely the supplement it’s starting out with.

Now available in over 1,800 Walmart locations, including the retail giant’s online store, is the more cost-effective spin-off of the reputable Gorilla Mode pre-workout, Gorilla Mode Base. The supplement packs a stacked set of highlights, including a hefty 10g of straight citrulline in its maximum two-scoop serving, 2.5g of betaine, 3g of tyrosine for focus, and a strong 400mg of caffeine for energy. Everything is exactly the same in the Gorilla Mode Base at Walmart, except for the size and the flavors it comes in.

Gorilla Mind has launched Gorilla Mode Base in two flavors at Walmart: the already available Bomb Pop-inspired Bombsicle and an entirely new and exclusive taste creation in Sour Gummy Worms. The other difference is size, and by that, we mean instead of 30 regular servings and 15 maximums, Walmart’s Gorilla Mode Base has 25 regular and 12-and-a-half two-scoop servings. That isn’t as bad as it sounds because the price the retailer sells the pre-workout at is far lower than the regular 30 count at $24.96.

When you compare the 25-serving Gorilla Mode Base at Walmart to the original 30-serving at Vitamin Shoppe, you get a saving of around 15%. To be fair, the specialty retailer does often run sales that could make the price per serving even better, but it’s worth knowing that if you grab the pre-workout at Walmart, it’s a damn good deal, and the ingredients and dosages you get on the inside are exactly the same.
