Optimum drops its first flavored creatine in Walmart alongside an unflavored alternative

Optimum Nutrition Flavored Creatine

Optimum Nutrition has dropped two new products at Walmart this month, both of which are rather interesting, including the well-dosed and evenly balanced pre-workout, Pre-Workout Amplifier, featuring an identical formula to the Platinum Igniter pre-workout. The other item is a major one as it is the first authentic flavor collaboration we’ve seen from the legendary sports nutrition company in a Girl Scouts’ Thin Mints extension for the iconic Gold Standard 100% Whey Protein.

While those items are interesting, they’re not the only innovations Optimum Nutrition has revealed and put into the big box retailer Walmart. Alongside the energy, pump, and performance pre-workout and familiar flavor of protein powder are two similar but separate, standalone creatine offerings. There is Micronized Creatine Powder in a 60-serving bottle, something that’s been around for a while, and Optimum’s first-ever flavored Micronized Creatine in Blueberry Lemonade.

The flavor variant of Optimum Nutrition’s Micronized Creatine Powder has the same amount of servings as the unflavored, at 60, each packing a full dose of classic creatine monohydrate at 5g to support muscle strength, performance, and power. Similar to the Girl Scouts collaboration and Pre-Workout Amplifier, we’re not sure if the blueberry Micronized Creatine will be available outside of Walmart, which we have to imagine will happen with something as widely appealing as flavored creatine.
