Energy Flavor arrives as the first new flavor for the hybrid PRO:VOLU protein energy drink

Energy Flavor Of Pro Volu

PRO:VOLU is a unique functional beverage in Denmark that brings together two familiar types of drinks, but they’re almost never seen together. The brand’s signature product combines hydrolyzed whey, providing 18g of protein a serving, and for an uplifting sidekick effect, there is 140mg of caffeine in a 440ml can. The calories are nice and lean at 84, leaving just 12 calories that are not from protein, although all of that changed recently when PRO:VOLU relaunched in a smaller 250ml can.

The newer PRO:VOLU hybrid protein energy drink has 10g of protein from premium hydrolyzed whey and a similarly scaled-down 48 calories, keeping that original theme. Despite all of the changes in size, the brand did not alter the original menu, carrying over its original selection of Citrus, Pineapple Mango, and Mixed Berries. This week, the Danish brand is releasing its first flavor since it initially came to market and it is an intriguing one named Energy Flavor, which clearly doesn’t say a whole lot in its title.

From what we understand, the Energy Flavor of PRO:VOLU is a traditional energy drink type taste, and usually when brands in Europe name extensions something like this, you get a Red Bull-inspired experience. That would be rather interesting in the brand’s flagship format of an energizing protein drink, but challenging, as canned ready-to-drink protein supplements that aren’t your classic chocolate or vanilla haven’t got the greatest track record let along when there is an energy drink infusion.
