Liquid Death and Yeti’s unique Casket Cooler ended up selling for $68,200

Liquid Death Yeti Casket Cooler Sold For

Liquid Death showed off its creativity once again last week when it announced a special edition collaboration with the outdoor equipment company Yeti. The two got together to create a full-size casket, although the inside is not what you’d expect, or maybe you did; it is a casket-shaped and casket-sized cooler. The one-of-a-kind product is fully functional with a hydraulic piston for easier opening and closing of the giant top, triple foam ColdCell cooling technology, and space for 378, 12oz cans.

As interesting and unique as the Casket Cooler is, Liquid Death had no plans of holding on to it, as alongside the announcement of the Yeti collaboration, it put the product up for auction on its website at liquiddeath.com. The canned water company gave anyone interested in owning the special edition cooler until Friday to submit their highest bid. If you were wondering just how much the Casket Cooler ended up fetching, after 810 bids and several final few-minute submissions, it sold for $68,200.

Details of the winner weren’t made public, although we can’t imagine anyone who ends up owning this would want to keep it a secret, so don’t be surprised if there is some sort of announcement or social sharing moment showing off the Casket Cooler in its final resting place or in use at an event.
