BetterBrand terminates employees that worked with a fulfillment partner to steal money and product

From Stack3d
Betterbrand Employee Fulfillment Drama

BetterBrand is a unique and innovative functional food company that takes familiar bakery formats like bagels, buns, and rolls and makes them into better-for-you items that have much more muscle-building protein and fewer carbohydrates. The products are incredibly interesting, sort of like protein bar macros, and in some cases, even leaner, but in the form of baked goods. Some drama has unfortunately fallen upon the brand recently, which resulted in the termination of a group of employees.

The team at BetterBrand felt the need to share what happened recently due to the level of transparency and authenticity it has wanted to offer and maintain since its inception. What happened was a select few employees at the company had been coordinating with an online fulfillment partner to steal money as well as actual product. BetterBrand went through an investigation to uncover all of this and, has since terminated all of the employees involved, as any fan or customer would hope so.

The whole situation did impact the fulfillment of orders placed directly through BetterBrand’s online store, interfering with the trust of its regular customers and, equally importantly, new customers. The team is working relentlessly to get all of its open orders completed and shipped out and get back to running as its direct-to-consumer business as efficiently as possible. Better Brand has put out a much lengthier announcement via social media, which you can read for yourself over on Instagram.
