Myprotein and meal specialist Kristy’s make a family of clean meal pots for Tesco

Myprotein Kirstys Meal Pots

Myprotein has branched out massively over the last few years, taking its message of health and nutrition into other formats and outlets that are very different from your typical protein powder, pre-workout, and sports nutrition realm. It has led the international giant into ice cream, frozen meals, and creative functional food formats. This month, the team has rolled out a collaboration with the prepared food specialist Kirsty’s, who makes all sorts of convenient meals available all across the United Kingdom.

Myprotein and Kirsty’s have come together to craft a series of convenient meal pots, similar to meal prep, where you peel back the lid, throw in the microwave for a few minutes, and it’s good to go. With the involvement of the supplement company, the nutrition of the products leans into balanced macros, including high protein. There are six options in the collection, all made with quality foods in familiar recipes, providing around 30g of protein, a similar amount of carbohydrates, and 267 to 386 calories.

The various meals Myprotein and Kirsty’s have cooked up include Sriracha Chicken Rice, Japanese Chicken Curry Rice, Panang Chicken Rice, Firecracker Chicken Rice, Chipotle Beef Chilli Rice, and Brunch Bowl with diced potatoes and chicken sausages. The team has clearly taken inspiration from global cuisine combined with clean and lean nutrition, and you can get them all at Tesco in Ireland; they don’t appear to be at the UK Tesco yet, and their price is fair at €5 each or grab two with a Tesco Clubcard at €4 each.
