The completely new blend-style C4 Whey Protein recently became available at the sports nutrition retailer GNC in two sizes, a 2lber and more cost-effective 5lb jug, both in the same three flavors in Vanilla and the authentic collaborations, Reese’s Peanut Butter and Hershey’s Milk Chocolate. GNC was where the supplement showed up first, so for a moment, we thought it had some sort of temporary exclusivity, where maybe we wouldn’t see it anywhere else, like other nutrition stores for some time.
It turns out that suspicion was misplaced, as another major sports nutrition store has just picked up and is now selling Cellucor’s C4 Whey Protein, although there may still be some exclusivity involved. The Vitamin Shoppe has begun listing the supplement in its online store, but not in all of the options you can find at GNC. Vitamin Shoppe has C4 Whey Protein only in its authentic flavor collaborations in Reese’s Peanut Butter and Hershey’s Milk Chocolate, both in 2lbs and only Hershey’s in the 5lb.
The prices are pretty much the same no matter if you go to GNC or The Vitamin Shoppe, the latter listing it at $45.99 for a 2lb tub and $82.99 for the more than double-sized 5lber. The other variants of C4 Whey Protein may still be coming, but basically, if you were looking for a place to grab the latest Cellucor innovation outside of GNC, Vitamin Shoppe is the way to go, and you can do it immediately at vitaminshoppe.com.
