As promised, we are announcing the nominees for our annual Brand Of The Year Awards, one by one, day by day, starting yesterday when we confirmed the nominees for Functional Brand Of The Year with Quest, Life Pro, Barebells, Inlead, and Muscle Nation. Next up is another category we introduced back in 2019 with Newcomer Of The Year, which is based on similar principles as the others, especially our Brand Of The Year Award, although it is exclusive to newcomers to the supplement industry.
The timeframe for brands to qualify has never been January 1st to December 31st, like the other annual performance awards. We give newcomers a bit more freedom and count the last couple of months of the year prior. With that in mind, you probably know exactly who the nominees are, or actually, a single nominee, for our Newcomer Of The Year Award. When we switched to a floating number rather than a set amount of nominees, selecting those that had a similar level of performance, we said it could result in a single nominee like a one-man callout.
That single nominee has happened for the first time in our Newcomer Of The Year Award for 2024, and that brand is none other than the incredibly impressive Infinis Nutrition. Launched right at the end of last year, it has put on a show since then, maintaining its intricate premium approach to more categories than most brands will ever touch. We are still treating this like a nomination and aren’t awarding the title until the winners are officially announced in the coming weeks, but there is just Infinis in the running.
