Australia’s Flipside energy drink reveals its first flavor extension named Violet Voltage

Violet Voltage Flipside Energy Drink

Flipside is a dedicated energy drink company down under in Australia that has recently made its way into the major convenience store chain, 7-Eleven, massively spreading awareness and putting the brand in front of even more individuals and audiences. The formula behind the beverage isn’t overly complex; it’s much more on the mainstream side with a variety of b vitamins, inositol, glucuronolactone, taurine, and a low level of caffeine at 106mg of caffeine for a light kick of energy.

Australia’s Flipside has two versions of its signature energy drink available in a regular variant and sugar-free, the former has 36g of carbohydrates, almost all of that sugar for a total of 157 calories, and the latter, the sugarless, has 4g of carbs and nine calories. At the moment, there are two tastes to choose from in Blue Ice and Pina Colada, which are about to be joined by a third, the first extension the brand has ever done in a purple-colored Violet Voltage Flipside energy drink.

Flipside has not shared a description of Violet Voltage, but if we had to guess, and knowing some of the flavors popular in Australia, we’re guessing it’s grape-themed. The color plays into it, and Monster just released its Monster Ultra Violet in that part of the world, the purple Monster Ultra featuring an on-point grape flavor. Flipside will be rolling out its newest flavor shortly, presumably in its many locations.
