Apollon Nutrition surprised fans with news of an all-new flavor of its signature protein powder yesterday in the extra salty peanut-based experience, Salted Peanuts for 50/50 Formula-X. The hardcore, two-time Brand Of The Year doesn’t typically get too busy in single weeks, but it is here in the first week of December, as Salted Peanuts isn’t all that they’ve cooked. Also launching this Friday is another flavor of Apollon’s more premium, high-end whey isolate protein powder IsoBlast.
This second flavor extension Apollon Nutrition has crafted is something special in honor of Hanukkah. For the Jewish festival, the brand has recreated the traditional Hanukkah treat, Sufganiyah, a deep-fried powdered sugar doughnut filled with jam. Apollon has decorated its special edition flavor of protein powder appropriately in terms of graphics, colors, and even a few words, as well as attached a more brief description, Sufganiyah, putting Raspberry Donut in the flavor callout.
Hanukkah is fast approaching, and again, Apollon Nutrition is releasing its Sufganiyah or Raspberry Donut flavor of IsoBlast at the end of this week through its online store at $54.95 for a tub of 30 servings. It will have all of the same great properties as the other options, with 24g of protein per serving, all from high-end, fast-absorbing whey isolate, low carbohydrates and fat, and around 120 calories.
