Darkness doubles the caffeine for the special edition version of its signature pre-workout

Darkness Evora Xt

The hardcore supplement company Darkness, from the hugely successful Brazilian sports nutrition brand Integralmedica, has pieced together a special edition version of its signature stimulant pre-workout, and there is a bit more to it than meets the eye. Compared to Integralmedica, Darkness digs deeper into sports categories or more traditional workout-orientated offerings like pre-workout, creatine, and protein powders with a host of entries, including Nitro Hard, Iso Hydro Clean, Meat Protein, and Monsterone.

Evora is the competitor in the pre-workout category from Integralmedica’s Darkness, and it comes with all of the typical ingredients companies in that part of the world are allowed to use due to the strict rules and regulations. Every serving has 2g of beta-alanine, 1.2g of taurine, and 200mg of caffeine. Now available alongside that is a limited-time, special edition spin-off from Darkness called Evora XT, where everything is exactly the same — the beta-alanine and taurine — except the caffeine has been doubled to a much stronger 400mg.

To be clear, Evora XT isn’t two scoops of the regular Evora, as the beta-alanine is still at 2g and the taurine is 1.2g in the XT spin-off, it is only the caffeine that has been drastically increased. Basically, you get everything Evora has with significantly more potent energy from that hard-hitting 400mg of caffeine. That one change does bring up the price of Evora XT compared to the original, where regular Evora is R$79.90 for a bottle of 60 servings, and Evora XT is R$144.90 (23.79 USD) in the one vibrant Neon Berry flavor.
