Chiefs finally makes an energy drink featuring 2g of BCAAs, 180mg of caffeine and no sugar

Chiefs Bcaa

It’s not uncommon for functional companies in Europe to dabble in all of the convenient formats, from protein snacks and better-for-you treats to beverages, with amino-based offerings and, of course, caffeinated energy drinks. Chiefs in Switzerland is incerdibly well-known for its delicious high-protein items, like bars, chips, drinks, and even ice cream. It had yet reached into the energy drink realm, which it has done this week, introducing Chiefs BCAA.

While the title of the product does make it sound like it’s all about amino acids, specifically the three all-important branched chain amino acids, it is very much an energy drink with plenty of caffeine for increased, uplifting energy. The beverage comes in a slim and sleek 330ml can, working out to about 11oz in volume, and the active ingredients you get inside are a respectable 2g of BCAAs, 180mg of energizing caffeine, no sugar, and a guilt-free 13 calories.

Surprisingly, despite every other item in the Chiefs family having a nice variety of flavors, you don’t get that in the hybrid BCAA and caffeinated beverage. There is just the one taste to choose from in Chiefs BCAA, at least to start, and that is White Peach, availalble direct starting today and shortly in all of its usual retail partners with coolers across Switzerland.
