House brand Star Nutrition adds a chewable to its army of creatine supplements

Star Nutrition Creatine Chewables

The supplement company Gymgrossisten is one of, if not the biggest, sports nutrition retailer in Sweden, and like many others in that part of the world, it has a great selection of products under its own house brand, Star Nutrition. The team is once again adding to the catalog this month with an alternative, separate from any of the many other creatines it has available, like the bulk standalone Creatine Monohydrate, premium Creatine Creapure, Flavored Creatine, and the advanced Ultimate Creatine.

Creatine Chew Tabs is the newest entry from Gymgrossisten and Star Nutrition, and it kind of walks the balance between standalone and high-end creatine as well as a functional food. The product is creatine in chewable tablet format, as we’ve seen many others here in the US come out with. The high-end twist is that Star Nutrition uses premium Creapure creatine monohydrate in its competitor, providing a respectable 3g of the strength, performance, and power-supporting ingredients in a three-tablet serving.

Functional products of any kind, especially edible creatine supplements, aren’t ever as cost-effective as a bulk tub of several servings in unflavored powder. Gymgrossisten’s effort is no different, especially with reputable Creapure creatine at 329 kr for a bottle of 50 servings or up to 20% discount if you grab four units. Keep in mind that the serving count is based on 3g per serving, not the full dosage of 5g, which brings the total down to 30 servings in Creatine Chew Tabs if you bump up for that efficacious amount.
