Weider fills a soft and crumbly protein cookie with a gooey flavorful center

Weider Joes Filled Protein Cookie

The Weider name is synonymous with the world of bodybuilding and fitness, primarily thanks to the legend himself, Joe Weider. In Europe, there is a brand named Weider that is a major competitor, and it has a rather large selection of health and nutrition supplements and functional foods. The brand has a whole host of different-shaped protein bars, a few protein shakes, protein peanut butter cups, and protein cookies, which is a part of its protein snacking business that it has given a bit of a twist.

The Core Bar is Weider’s protein bar featuring a gooey filling down the middle, packed full of sweetness and flavor. Now available from the major European player is Joe’s Filled Protein Cookie, offering a similar sort of experience to the Core Bar where you get a soft and crumbly cookie that has a gooey, flavorful filling. As delicious as it looks, it still makes sure it delivers on the protein part of its name side, packing 14g per piece, with a high 23g of carbohydrates, under 2g of sugar, 16g of fat, and 281 calories.

The protein-to-calorie ratio is definitely on the high side, but the taste and texture of Joe’s Filled Protein Cookie looks like it’ll more than make up for that. There are two flavors, both featuring that soft and doughy cookie, although in the Peanut Butter flavor you get a smooth peanut butter filling in the center, and in Hazelnut Nougat, you get those two tastes in its gooey core. As per usual, the first place stocking Weider’s latest is its own website in singles at €2.49 each or get 20% off a box of 12 at €23.88.
