Functional food innovator Chiefs in Switzerland has revealed and released its first-ever authentic collaboration, and this is something entirely different, being one of the rare partnership products that brings one approach to the other’s formats. Chiefs is known for its delicious foods and snacks that are high in protein, low in sugar, and reasonable in calories. The company has got together with fellow Swiss name Kägi, a more than 90-year-old manufacturer of delicious chocolate wafers.
It may come as no surprise what Chiefs and Kägi have created together knowing what they do in a moderate protein and undoubtedly delicious wafer-style snack. The product features two tasty sticks per pack featuring layers of crispy wafers and smooth filling, all wrapped in rich milk chocolate with no added sugar. The authentic collaboration comes in the one Classic Choco flavor, and squeezed inside of the candy bar-like innovation is a moderate 13g of protein between the pieces.
There is only one other collaboration we’ve seen that brings a nutrition brand’s approach to the format of the other, as usually, it’s the other way around where the likes of Chiefs would use the flavor of a candy bar in an already available item like a protein powder or protein bar. The Chiefs and Kägi creation switches that, leaving the latter to do what it does best in making a killer chocolate wafer snack and Chiefs brings the protein, with the product out now in stores in Switzerland.
