Foodspring stuffs a delicious gooey filling down the center of its latest functional innovation

Foodspring Creamy Core Protein Bar

The successful lifestyle, health, and wellness company Foodspring in Germany has a strong presence in functional food with a signature Protein Bar in several different flavors, the tastier Protein Bar Extra Layered, and a plant-based alternative called the Vegan Protein Bar. The brand has introduced a fourth type of bar-format snack this month called the Protein Bar Creamy Core, similar to the handful of other competitors in Europe that offer a snack with a creamy filling down the middle.

Foodspring’s Protein Bar Creamy Core follows the build we’ve seen before when “Core” is in the name, where you get a dense and doughy bar covered in crispy and crunchy pieces and wrapped in delicious chocolate. As per the title, the Creamy Core product also has a gooey filling or creamy core right down the middle, ensuring every bite has a gooey hit of flavor. There are two options for the functional innovation, each offering a different-tasting core in Hazelnut Coconut and Salted Caramel.

The latest from Foodspring looks damn delicious, and it follows that up with a reliable nutrition profile, led by 12g of protein per piece, which is on the moderate side for a 50g bar. The carbohydrates don’t get too high at 18g, just 2.4g of that sugar, 12g of fat, and a calorie count of just over 200. You can purchase either of the flavors of the mouthwatering Protein Bar Creamy Core straight from Foodspring’s online store with an introductory discount of 30%, bringing it down to €20.91 a box or €1.74 each.
