Max Protein packs a cookie full of protein, chocolate chips and Lacasitos candies

Max Protein Max Cookies

Max Protein in Spain has had functional cookies in its catalog for many years by way of Black Max, a chocolate sandwich cookie style food, along the same lines as the legendary Oreo. The difference between Black Max and the other cookie sandwiches you may have come across in your life is that it has moderate protein and next to no sugar. Max Protein has come out with another functional cookie treat with Max Cookies, which is a separate, better-for-you cookie from Black Max.

Max Cookies from Max Protein isn’t a sandwich or anything like that; it is a straight doughy cookie, and along the same lines as Black Max, you get significantly less sugar and more protein. In each of the moderately sized 25g cookies, you get a respectable 6g of protein, pushing to 12g between two and 18g in three. The fat is at 8g a piece, the carbohydrates are also at 8g with half of it sugar, and the calories end up on 128. The product looks absolutely delicious as it has a doughy main body, but punched into every inch of the cookies are rich chocolate chips and colorful Lacasitos candies.

Max Protein has indeed partnered with the actual candy brand Lacasitos for its Max Cookies, and this is not the first time it’s done this. The Spanish functional company has made several products with Lacasitos, including a protein bar and flavors of various protein powders. We imagine Max Protein will expand Max Cookies beyond the lone chocolate chip and Lacasitos-filled flavor into simpler options like standard chocolate chip, but this is a great one to start with and it looks damn good.
