Muscle Nation prepares to shake up the ready-to-drink protein market in Australia

Muscle Nation Protein Shake

Muscle Nation began as an apparel company, then a sports nutrition specialist, with a host of advanced supplements for core categories like weight loss, pre-workout, protein powder, and superfood. It didn’t take the colorful company to move into the functional world with several convenient items, and since then, it has gone from strength to strength. Muscle Nation is now known for many delicious better-for-you, high-protein treats and snacks, including its incredibly textured Custard Protein Bar.

The next space Muscle Nation is looking to take over and have a noticeable impact is ready-to-drink protein, which makes sense and was only a matter of time. The Australian health and nutrition brand already competes in protein drinks with its canned offering Protein Water, although its all-new and upcoming Muscle Nation Protein Shake is set to be a stronger competitor. The brand is taking a more traditional approach in this one with a dairy-based formula, milkshake tastes, and 30g of protein a bottle.

The Muscle Nation Protein Shake squeezes a lot more protein into a single unit than the already available Protein Water, almost three times as much, with moderate carbohydrates and fat, and reasonable calories. The brand is rolling out the product in three flavors, all classic decadent dairy experiences with Milk Choc, Vanilla Ice Cream, and a sweet Strawberry Milkshake. Muscle Nation has a formidable presence in supermarkets and convenience stores, and we imagine its promising Protein Shake will slide right in there.
