Ok expands its yerba mate-based line even further with its first actual flavor

Ok Mate Kiwi Gold

Ok in Switzerland has been expanding its Mate family of energy drinks after kicking everything off last year with the original Ok Mate Energy Drink. It is a yerba mate-based beverage providing a relatively light 69mg of caffeine in a short soda-style 330ml can, offering a unique tea-like experience. Just a month ago, Ok followed that innovation up with Mate Zero, a sugar-free spin-off that maintains the original’s low level of caffeine at 73mg but much lower carbohydrates and calories thanks to the removal of sugar.

Building on the success of its Mate series or the original and Mate Zero, Ok is rolling out Mate Kiwi Gold, a different experience with the same base theme. The newest offering maintains that same yerba mate formula, the regular version with sugar, although this time, you get an infusion of a sweet kiwi flavor, hence the name. This is the first flavor of Mate outside of the natural-tasting Mate and Mate Zero, as mentioned, expanding the series into a whole new direction that could lead to many more entries
