Power Pro strengthens its protein selection with a coconut-based competitor

Power Pro in the Ukraine has made headlines here at Stack3d several times, and on most of those occasions, it has been about unique innovations in the sports nutrition, health, and functional categories. The creative company’s latest effort is a protein powder, and while that may have you thinking this is more traditional, that is not the case. Power Pro has crafted a plant-based, vegan-friendly protein powder that uses an incredibly uncommon source.

Coconut Protein Powder is Power Pro’s newest supplement to hit the market, and as per the title, it is a protein powder that gets all of its muscle-building macronutrients from coconut protein. The nutrition profile breaks down into 22g of protein in a 40g serving with a moderate 4.4g of carbohydrates, half of that sugar, 3g of fat, and 134 calories. It is as lean as other plant-powered protein products but again, the difference here is that protein is from coconut.

We have to imagine the taste of Power Pro’s Coconut Protein Powder will be something quite different from the typically grainy or earthy experience of a vegan protein supplement, even more so as it comes in two flavors. The options for the brand’s deeper expansion into the saturated category are a rich and decadent Chocolate, promising a strong Belgian chocolate taste, and a cocktail-inspired Pina Colada, seamlessly blending pineapple and coconut.
