AST in Brazil adds creatine to the Euphoric edition of its pre-workout

Ast Sports Science Ar 5 Eurphoric

AST Sports Science is a long-running sports nutrition company, originally known for its premium protein powder VP2. While it hasn’t been in the news as much as it used to, in Brazil, the brand appears to have quite the presence, where it recently debuted a special edition version of its pre-workout AR-5. As we’ve said many times before, the rules and regulations in that part of the world are strict, but AST does its best to offer various benefits in its flagship competitor.

The main ingredient in AR-5, as well as most other pre-workouts in Brazil, is caffeine, and it is at a hefty 400mg per serving. Alongside that are moderate dosages of beta-alanine, arginine, and taurine, and an extremely light half a gram of citrulline. AST Sports Science has introduced AR-5 Euphoric this month, which has all of the same ingredients and dosages, but in place of citrulline is citrullinylarginine, and added to the formula is a minatenanace level 3g of creatine.

Considering how simple the original AR-5 formula is, as well as other competitors in the pre-workout category in Brazil, the switch to citrullinylarginine and added creatine is a notable change, and worthy of the title attachment in AR-5 Euphoric. There are three individually branded flavors of the supplement in Tiger’s Blood, Las Vegas Margarita, and California Pink Lemonade, and the Euphoric edition is just a couple of dollars more than the original at R$169.90 (29.26 USD).
