Applied Nutrition has gone all-in on authentic flavor collaborations over the last year, turning names like Slush Puppie, ICEE, and Chiquita into special edition supplements and beverages. The international powerhouse has been using those partnerships across everything from ABE to carnitine and clear protein powder, but its latest might be the biggest yet. After parting ways with Ghost, Sour Patch Kids has resurfaced in a partnership with Applied.
The Sour Patch Kids collaboration will see the release of three authentic flavors in Sour Patch Kids Watermelon, Sour Patch Kids Blue Razz, and Sour Patch Kids Redberry, covering some of the candy brand’s most recognizable tastes. Applied Nutrition is not limiting the collaboration to one format either, as all three of those are being made for the on-the-go ABE Energy Drink as well as the original and more comprehensive ABE Pre-Workout supplement.
It is a massive move for Applied Nutrition and another sign of how aggressively the brand is building its presence through recognizable, mainstream collaborations. Sour Patch Kids is one of the biggest names in candy, and bringing three flavors to two of Applied’s most important products makes this more than a simple one-off. The three flavor collaborations across the two supplements are expected to begin making their way to market shortly.
