RYSE is working on a milk-based protein drink to take over the exploding category

Ryse Talks Loaded Protein Rtd

We recently noted that the ready-to-drink protein category is on the rise, with an army of competitors getting in on the space, including those new to the industry, new to this particular area of the market, and those that are expanding even deeper into it. Farmer-owned Darigold is getting in on the action, fitness authority Mike Israetel is taking aim with Genius Shot, Quest has powered up to 45g for its Protein Milkshake, and Super Coffee just dropped a version with 25g of protein.

The well-known supplement company RYSE is the latest in the recent long line of brands lining up to bring something new to ready-to-drink protein, and this will be separate from the Clear Protein Drink it brought out near the end of last year. It sounds as though the brand’s next beverage will be a Loaded Protein Drink, as it will be milk-based, pack 30g of protein per bottle, have added MCTs, and it promises a clean nutrition profile that isn’t unreasonable in calories.

Since we are talking about RYSE here, the Loaded Protein Drink, if that is indeed what we’re in for, will of course taste amazing, as its reputation in the taste department is incredibly strong, hence how it’s won our Protein Wars title the last four years in a row. More details on the innovation will be along shortly, but things are moving quickly, and it will be coming to market sooner rather than later in classic Chocolate and Vanilla, and a few authentic flavor collaborations.
