Japan’s DNS spends five years making a soy protein that’s smoother in taste and texture

Dns Protein Smooth Soy

Soy-based protein powders are not as uncommon in the Eastern part of the world as they are in the West, with many brands across Asia relying on soy as a key source of protein as well as a cost-effective one. Japanese brand DNS has just introduced another soy-based protein supplement, separate from the one it previously released into the market, Protein Soy 100. It has introduced Smooth Soy Protein, which focuses on providing a better drinking experience.

DNS has said it’s spent the last five years developing a new form of soy protein that doesn’t have a grainy or rough texture, like traditional soy protein, and a smoother taste without too much bitterness. The result is Smooth Soy Protein, hence the name, and the brand hasn’t sacrificed anything on the nutrition front. You still get a reasonable mix of macros for this sort of supplement with 16g of protein, 6g of carbohydrates, a gram of fat, and an even 100 calories.

Japanese brand DNS has launched Smooth Soy Protein in two flavors, both simple and straightforward, with Chocolate and what we’re guessing is a neutral, unflavored variant called Plain. Both options come in a bag of 630g, working out to about 24 servings at 16g of protein each, which drops to 15 servings if you scale up for the standard 25g of protein.
