Ghost and Mondelez agree to gradually phase out their collaborations over the next 12 months

Ghost has shared a follow-up to the major announcement that confirmed the end of its partnership with Mondelez, the source of several legendary flavor collaborations, leaving leagues of fans disappointed. After introducing authentic and officially licensed tastes from Oreo, Chips Ahoy, Nutter Butter, Sour Patch Kids, and Swedish Fish, the news last month confirmed that those partnerships would not continue, marking the end of an era for the brand.

There is an interesting update to the Ghost and Mondelez relationship that doesn’t change the end result, but it will help ease loyal fans and consumers of those supplement collaborations into their eventual non-existence. The two giants have agreed to soft land the transition, meaning the separation won’t be immediate. Instead, Ghost and Mondelez are gradually discontinuing the supplement and energy drink flavor collabs across the coming 12 months.

Simply put, Ghost and Mondelez will still be ending their partnership; however, the time you have left to enjoy the likes of the Swedish Fish Ghost Energy Drink and Oreo Ghost Whey Protein Powder is a lot longer than it could’ve been. Either way you look at it, fans will want to stock up on their favorites, as once they’re gone that will truly be it.
