Life Pro injects a splash of caffeine into its gummy candy carbohydrate-based bar

Life Pro Gumbar Caffeine

Life Pro Nutrition, our back-to-back Functional Brand Of The Year winner from 2022 and 2023, is back doing what it does best with the launch of another edible innovation. This one is a spin-off of something it already had on the market in the Gumbar from its performance-focused Endurance Series. The original Gumbar is a carbohydrate-filled gummy candy block, essentially like a big bar-shaped gummy as a fast-acting source of fuel.

Alongside Gumbar, beginning this month, is Life Pro Nutrition’s Gumbar Caffeine, which is taking that regular Gumbar and putting some caffeine into the mix. The functional product is made primarily of fruit pulp as well as straight sugar and glucose syrup, giving you 25g of carbohydrates a piece, almost all of that is sugar at 23g. As mentioned, the spin-off is infused with caffeine to drive performance and energy, but the caffeine isn’t too high at 50mg per piece.

If you like the idea of a bar made of a gummy-like food that gives you fast-acting carbohydrates for whatever you want to be ready for, plus a splash of caffeine at 50mg, Gumbar Caffeine may be worth checking out. Life Pro Nutrition isn’t charging much for the energized variant at €1.96 for a single bar. There is also a 24-pack, saving you a light 5% at €1.85 a bar, with three sweet flavors in Raspberry, Mango, and crisp Apple.
