Lohilo claims world’s first in its whey, collagen and caffeine-powered functional drink

Lohilo Protein Drink

We are huge fans of Lohilo purely because of its ridiculously delicious frozen functional foods, from its pots of decadent protein ice cream to what we consider to be the GOAT of protein snacks, the Lohilo Protein Ice Cream Bar. A little known secret of the Swedish company is that it also dabbles deeply in functional drinks, and it’s actually been doing that for many years with a few different health and energy supporting innovations.

The Lohilo Protein Drink is the newest drinkable supplement from Lohilo, and it is something different. The brand refers to it as a world’s first, and while we don’t think that is quite the case, it certainly brings together a variety of active ingredients you’ll have a hard time finding in a single beverage. What makes the product so unique is that it blends hydrolyzed whey isolate, collagen, and caffeine into a multi-benefit, functional drink.

Together, the protein sources whey isolate and collagen provide 15g of protein a bottle, the majority of which comes from whey, with half a gram of carbohydrates, practically none of that sugar, almost no fat, 62 calories, and a moderate 105mg of caffeine. Again, not the first canned drink to combine protein and caffeine, but a rare blend nonetheless, and it’s out now in Sweden in refreshing Lemon Lime and Peach flavors.
