Reaction squeezes goBHB, CellFlo6 and a heavy hit of Cognizin into its debut energy drink

Reaction Energy Drink

The energy drink scene really started picking up a few years ago with surges in popularity from the likes of Ghost Energy, RYSE Fuel making a name for itself, the nootropic-enhanced Gorilla Mind Energy breaking into the market, and the arrival of Chris Bumstead’s Bum Energy. There have been major moves by established players, too, but the growth and expansion of the space hasn’t stopped, and next up to enter the game is Reaction.

We’ve said and seen it many times, where newcomers to the energy drink category have been increasing their complexity, or at least the typical approach to an energizing beverage is no longer just caffeine, taurine, and glucuronolactone. Reaction drives that home big time, bringing together several active ingredients for energy and beyond.

Reaction Energy Drink Label

The formula of the upcoming Reaction energy drink includes 2.5g of goBHB ketones for fuel and performance, 300mg of CellFlo6, a gram of taurine, close to 600mg of electrolytes, and a gram of carnitine for metabolism and weight loss. Moving to the sensory side, there is 200mg of natural caffeine for energy, 100mg of theanine for a more calming effect, a gram of n-acetyl-l-tyrosine, huperzine, and a heavy 500mg of premium Cognizin.

The Reaction energy drink is more than an energy drink. The formula puts it more into the general functional beverage category as it has plenty of drivers for enhancing energy, focus, and cognition, but also touches on performance and hydration. It is a sports nutrition product, so the macros are clean with no sugar and just ten calories, and it has debuted in a huge eight flavors, with the likes of Power Sour Gummy and Orange Creamsicle.
