Our weekly feature round-up, Best Of The Week, highlights five stories that made an impact across functional food, energy drinks, and supplement innovation. This time, we’ve got reformulations for international markets, exclusive product drops, the highly anticipated Clash Of The Cans powered by Dynamine, and two brands going all in on minimalism, high-protein nutrition, and bulk value in their own different ways.
- Ghost changes the nootropics and lowers the caffeine for the UK version of its energy drink
- Monster makes a caffeine-free Green Monster specifically for restaurants in Japan
- Heavy hitters are all in the running for the 2025 Clash Of The Cans title
- Introducing Dawg Food and its incredibly interesting bulk bags of high-protein food
- Jacked Granny claims to have made the cleanest bar on Earth using just three ingredients
Ghost has rolled out a tweaked version of its energy drink for the United Kingdom and the rest of Europe, swapping nootropic ingredients and reducing caffeine from to 160mg per can. Over in Japan, Monster has an exclusive caffeine-free Green Monster that’s only available to restaurants. Meanwhile, our energy drink showdown, Clash Of The Cans 2025, is heating up, with big names making it to the quarterfinals.
Finally, the food space saw two completely different but unique approaches, including Jacked Granny with its stripped-down protein bar made with just three ingredients for what it’s calling the cleanest bar on Earth. At the other end of the spectrum, we featured Dawg Food’s bulk bagged, precooked, high-protein food for the dawg in you.
