Successful French nutrition brand Nutripure has come out with a type of supplement you don’t see all that often here in the US, but over in Europe, especially in the developed markets, it is still a common format. The brand has revealed and released Long Distance Energy Gel, and it follows all of the traditions of carbohydrates in the convenient squeeze gel format to rip open, squeeze out, take in the fuel, and keep going.
Nutripure’s Long Distance Energy Gel is made with a specific balance of maltodextrin, dextrose, and fructose to provide 30g of rapid-absorbing carbohydrates per pack, just over half of that sugar at 19g, no fat or protein, and 120 calories. As mentioned, the classic energy gel hasn’t changed much over the years, and Nutripure has followed that familiar path as you can see, designing it as an efficient source of performance-powering carbs.
The one not-so-standard part of the newly released Long Distance Energy Gel from Nutripure in France is that it doesn’t have any flavor to it. The brand has decided to keep it plain and simple, as plain as possible, with absolutely no taste to it in an option called Neutral. The carbohydrate supplement is available direct on Nutripure’s website in packs of six, cases of 12, or a bulk bundle of 36 gels for as low as €2.22 (2.56 USD) each.
