Atomic puts 11g of protein into a 50g serving of its newly released puff-style cereal

Atomic Labs Protein Balls Cereal

Brazilian brand Atomic Labs hasn’t just launched its first-ever protein bar this week, Protein Bites, it has also brought out the functional innovation it previously teased in Protein Balls. This is not a bar, cookie, or even a shake. Protein Balls is Atomic’s take on the growing space of protein cereal. It was teased about a month ago, but now that it’s available, we have full details on what you get ingredient-wise and nutritionally.

Atomic Labs’ Protein Balls is a light and crunchy, puff-ball cereal, and it doesn’t do too badly on macros, packing 22g of muscle-building protein from high-quality whey in a serving of 100g. Not everyone is probably going to want to throw down that much in a single sitting, although even at a half-sized 50g serving, the protein is still reasonable at 11g. The carbohydrates come in at 32.5g, practically no sugar, and 169 calories.

The quality of functional foods in Brazil is impressive, not just in the variety of formats brands make in that market, but also in the quality of flavor. Put simply, the innovations taste as good as they look, and knowing that, we suspect Atomic Labs Protein Balls continues that reputation and is on point. You can grab the protein cereal straight from the brand’s website at a low R$69.90 (12.65 USD) for a small 210g box.
