We recently got complete details on two of the functional food innovator FroPro’s ten new products, with two completely new flavors of its Protein Burrito in Cheeseburger and Buffalo Mac & Cheese. While those two have gone live and are now available at Woolworths supermarkets across Australia, the following two items have hit the market, and alternatively, they are rolling out at the country’s other supermarket giant, Coles.
New to the delicious, nutritious, and protein-loaded FroPro family is Protein Dumplings, which is a whole new type of product from the brand. FroPro Protein Dumplings are made with lean Australian meat and a protein-loaded wrapper, providing 38g of protein in an entire pack of dumplings with 335 to 394 calories. There are two traditional dumpling flavors in Sweet Chili Chicken and the higher calorie option of the two, Pork & Chives.
The nutrition profiles are pretty balanced either way you go, Sweet Chili Chicken or Pork & Chives FroPro Protein Dumplings with 3g or less fat, around 35g of carbohydrates, a reasonable 5g of that sugar, and again, calories of 335 for the chicken and sweet chili variant, or just shy of 400 at 394 calories in the pork and chives filled flavor.
As mentioned, FroPro Protein Dumplings have launched at Coles, with reports of many consumers already getting their hands on the innovation and trying them out. After seeing the new flavors of Protein Burrito, we were hoping the brand’s ten innovations weren’t going to simply be more options. The Protein Dumplings are a clear sign that FroPro has plenty of creativity and probably more new formats in its series of drops.
