The ED Energy Drink is one of the most popular energy drinks in Finland, being available in everywhere you could want a convenient hit of energy. The brand puts its flagship beverage in a plastic bottle instead of the traditional aluminum can, and it is available in many flavors, most of them full sugar. More recently, ED introduced higher caffeine versions in its Original flavor with Extra Caffeine, packing 200mg a bottle, and Double Caffeine with 320mg.
The team at ED Energy Drink had yet to stray too far from the core Original flavor of its higher caffeine offerings, until this month, where it has finally made a second option specifically for the mid-level, Extra Caffeine spin-off. Now available in stores in Finland, alongside Original, is a Lime Extra Caffeine ED Energy Drink, providing that same 200mg of caffeine, zero sugar and carbohydrates, and just ten calories a bottle, with a tart citrusy lime flavor.
