Premier Protein finally makes a plant-based protein shake with almond milk

Premier Protein Almond Milk Shake

Premier Protein is one of the most accessible when it comes to convenient protein, whether you’re talking about its on-the-go edible items, or premixed and reasonably enjoyable protein shakes. It has several flavors to choose from for most of its products, and you can get them at big box retailers and supermarkets. Despite its size, Premier continues to add to its catalog, on both sides, edible and drinkable.

This week, Premier Protein has introduced another protein-packed beverage that works as an alternative or a complete solution for some in the ready-to-drink protein category. Joining the brand’s original, Classic Protein Shake and the luxurious, gourmet Indulgence Series is Premier Almond Milk Protein Shake. As the name implies, it is essentially a high-protein beverage made with plant-based, non-dairy almond milk.

The macros vary slightly across each of the flavors, but in the Chocolate Premier Protein Almond Milk Protein Shake, you get 20g of protein from almond milk and soy protein isolate, 9g of carbohydrates, 5g of that sugar, 5g of fat, and 160 calories. The protein stays the same for the other two tastes for the protein beverage innovation in Vanilla and Coffee, which is made with coffee and has the same caffeine as a standard cup.

Premier Protein has launched its plant-based, dairy-free beverage in its usual plastic bottles and cartons, both with 11oz to drink. The mainstream brand has done a plant-powered protein supplement but has yet to dive into the world of premixed solutions. Premier Protein Almond Milk Protein Shake is that long-awaited offering, and judging by the marketing video above, it has put a lot of effort into great taste and texture.
