Lyft continues to uniquely flavor its whey protein powder in an all-new Sour Rave

Sour Rave Lyft Protein Powder

The multi-faceted fitness company Lyft in Japan, which has a gym, health-focused cafe, complete collection of clothing, and supplements, has indeed added to that supplement side this week in a new flavor of its signature protein powder. The catalog of nutrition products from Lyft and its Lyft Nutrition line, isn’t that extensive, but it does compete in the world of protein powder with both soy and regular whey-based supplements.

The latest flavor creation from Lyft Nutrition is for Whey Protein Concentrate, which already has some intriguing options on its menu, like Salty Lychee, Caramel Latte, Melon, and now Sour Rave. The brand promotes this one as a mesh of sour and tart lemon and lime, on top of that familiar whey concentrate base. The nutrition is pretty typical with 20g of protein, under 2g of fat, 6g of carbohydrates, and a reasonable 117 calories.

Protein powders with a whey concentrate base don’t usually stray too far from milkshake-style tastes like chocolate, cookies, and peanut butter. Clearly Lyft Nutrition doesn’t follow that rule for Whey Protein Concentrate as seen in its other options, and even more so in Sour Rave. The product is going live at midnight local time in Japan on Tuesday of next week, where fans will be able to buy a 900g bag for ¥4,980 (34.10 USD).
