Leading Australasian energy drink V introduces a boldly flavored sugar-free series

V Energy Candy Series

V Energy is a powerhouse energy drink in Australia and New Zealand, and it is one of those great examples of a domestic competitor beating out giants like Monster, Red Bull, and anyone else that has challenged it in the last couple of decades. The brand controls over half the energy drink market in its home country and about a third of it in Australia, and lately, it has been showing serious effort on the innovation side.

V Energy is no longer known for just its signature green can and its various other single-color spin-offs; it has the delicious V Refresh Series, the more recent V Rise, and now its most ambitious expansion to date, what we’re calling the V Candy Series. The energy drink competitor seems to have taken notes from the many successful sports nutrition entrants and made a whole new line of sugarless energy drinks in bold, exotic flavors.

The newly released V Energy Candy Energy Drinks have an eye-catching combination of colors all over the can and come in not-so-straightforward flavors with Watermelon Candy, Strawberries & Cream, and Cotton Candy. Again, they all have no sugar, unlike the Original V Energy Drink, less than a gram of carbohydrates, just six to seven calories in its 250ml can, B vitamins, and a moderate 78mg of caffeine.

If you’ve ever had a V Energy Drink, especially the complex recipes found in its also low-calorie Refresh Series, you’ll know the team knows how to flavor. With more sweet treat, candy-like experiences on offer in this one, we have to imagine these are going to taste amazing. The Candy Series V Energy Drinks are launching in both New Zealand and Australia and will be available everywhere the brand is, which again, is a lot of places.
