Applied Nutrition took its collaboration game up a notch earlier this year in a partnership with the international fruit legend Chiquita, which is specifically known for its bananas. The sports nutrition company got together with Applied for authentic, special edition flavors of various products. It included Chocolate Banana and Peanut Butter Banana Hybrid Protein, as well as Strawberry Pineapple Pre, Zero Caffeine Pre, and Hydration.
Applied Nutrition or AN Supps, as it’s known here in the US, has expanded that partnership into a couple of completely new supplements, starting with Essential Pre. The product is, of course, a stimulant pre-workout available in two Chiquita flavor collaborations in Fruit Blend and Pineapple Strawberry. As for the formula, Essential Pre is the most cost-effective competitor from Applied with a reliable set of ingredients at moderate dosages.
The newly released Essential Pre from Applied Nutrition comes with 4g of citrulline malate for better muscle pumps, a light 400mg of taurine, 3g of creatine monohydrate for strength, and 2g of beta-alanine to power performance. Taking care of the energy and focus in the supplement are some B vitamins, VitaCholine choline bitartrate, and, of course, classic caffeine anhydrous at a solid 200mg for uplifting energy.
The variety of ingredients and depth of dosages compared to other Applied Nutrition pre-workouts like ABE and the reliable Performance Pre, aren’t as impressive, but again, this is a cost-effective competitor. Applied Nutrition is launching Essential Pre exclusively through Walmart, where you can grab a 30 serving tub of the supplement at $22.97, which is well below the $30 mark most value-focused pres go after.
