Celsius plays into the comedic side of the High Noon and Astro Vibe mix-up

Celsius Play On Astro Vibe High Noon Issue

One of the most popular stories that came through the industry over the last couple of weeks was the mix-up with the vodka seltzer company High Noon. It accidentally had cans of the Astro Vibe flavor of the Celsius energy drink end up in its supply, which were then filled with its signature seltzer. Those cans were then put into High Noon’s Beach Variety Pack, but consumers were told to double-check all cans of Astro Vibe Celsius just to be sure.

Being the creative and entertaining company that it is, not only touched on the topic, it plays into the comedic side of it. First, the brand put out a post of Astro Vibe, featuring the caption “What are y’all sippin on this weekend?”, followed by another picture of the beverage saying “Tag your friends…it’s happy hour.” It was all topped off with an entire skit about there being alcohol in Astro Vibe and clarifying that it’s just those with a silver lid.

Situations like this very rarely get mentionbed by the brands themselves, although on this occasion, Celsius took the story, played around, and ran with it. At the end of the day, the cans of Astro Vibe were accidentally shipped to High Noon, so there was nothing it did wrong on its side. It obviously had to deal with the blowback, and it did that in the most entertaining way possible, which you can see for yourself on X as well as Instagram.
